Your personal data (i.e. any information which identifies you, or which can be identified as relating to you personally) will be used by Spunart, which is a trading name of Spunweb UK Ltd, 1 Park Lane, Allestree, Derby DE22 2DR. A private limited company registration number 2823705.
3. WHAT INFORMATION WE COLLECT
Personal data you provide.
We collect data you provide to us. This includes information you provide either when placing an order via our website or by telephoning our office, together with requests for samples or further information. For example:
* personal details (name, address, email and/or telephone number if provided).
* details of the material supplied for each order
* details of the products or information that you are interested in when requesting samples.
4. WHAT WE DO WITH THIS INFORMATION
We only ever keep this information internally and never share it with a third party, other organisation, or person.
We use the details held within our secure database, purely as a record, primarily to enable us to identify new and returning customers, details of their enquiry/order, together with the type of material that has been supplied. Either due to an order or via our sample request system. If you are not happy for these basic details to be held by us, then we will be pleased to remove them from our database.
5. HOW WE PROTECT DATA
We employ a variety of physical and technical measures to keep your data safe and to prevent unauthorised access to, or use or disclosure of your personal information.
Electronic data and our database are stored on secure computer systems and we control who has access to information (using both physical and electronic means). Our staff receive regular information updates concerning data protection procedures, which employees are required to follow when handling personal data.
6. PAYMENT SECURITY
Via our website:
All payments made using the Spunart website are handled securely via our
payment providers, i.e. PayPal and Worldpay.
Spunart complies with the payment card industry data security standard (PCI-DSS) published by the PCI Security Standards Council and will never store card details.
Telephone orders:
In the case of telephoned orders, the credit card details provided are actioned
securely and immediately. All card details are then disposed of securely. Any
such information is never retained by Spunart. Of course, we cannot guarantee
the security of your home computer or the internet and any online
communications.
How long we store information:
We will only use and store information for as long as it is required for the
purposes it was collected for. How long information will be stored for depends
on the information in question.
We continually review what information we hold and delete what is no longer required. We never store payment information.
7. KEEPING YOU IN CONTROL
We want to ensure you remain in control of your personal data. Part of this is making sure you understand your legal rights, which are as follows:
* the right to confirmation as to whether or not we have your personal data and, if we do, to obtain a copy of the personal information we hold (this is known as subject access request).
